Our History
Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System (DIMTS) Ltd. is an urban transport and infrastructure development company committed to build and deliver quality infrastructure.
DIMTS came into being in April 2006. In July 2007 it became a equal equity joint venture company between the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) and the IDFC Foundation (a not-for-profit organization). Over the years, DIMTS has evolved and is now equipped to provide concept to commissioning as well as operations, management and maintenance services, given the knowledge and skills it has in the following areas;

It has consolidated its activities into these seven major verticals:

Transportation is the common theme behind these seemingly disparate areas or verticals. DIMTS has developed a wide network of prestigious clients. Primary amongst them is the Govt. of NCT of Delhi (GNCTD) which has nominated DIMTS as the nodal agency for many of its public transport related projects. Apart from GNCTD, DIMTS also counts amongst its clients the NDMC, PWD, MCD, DTC, MMRDA, Government of Punjab and many others.
Apart from creating quality infrastructure and transportation systems, DIMTS is also actively working towards raising awareness among people about public transport. DIMTS expects that a carefully selected raft of measures to provide reliable, safe, comfortable and affordable public transit combined with an awareness raising campaign, will encourage people to choose public transport over personal transport.
