- Parking by covering Nallah at three locations near Ambedkar Nagar
On the demand of residents of Ambedkar Nagar and Madangir area, Transport Department of GNCTD has decided to construct Parking for the residents by covering Nallah at three locations near Ambedkar Nagar. The Project will create a parking space of 5230 Sqm. sufficient to park more than 120 cars. The work has been awarded and is expected to be completed by November, 2008. - Foot-Over-Bridges in BRT Corridor
To enhance the pedestrian movement facilities across the first 5.8 Kms. stretch of the Ambedkar Nagar to Delhi Gate BRT Corridor, Transport Department of GNCTD has decided to provide foot over bridges wherever required and are feasible. Three locations have been identified. Feasibility and design studies are in progress. The work is expected to be completed within six months of grant of statutory clearances. - Pedestrian Facilities in NDMC Area
As per the Project Services Agreement with NDMC, DIMTS has been assigned the Project of providing following Grade Separated Pedestrian Facilities on turnkey basis. The concept designs are under finalization in consultation with NDMC.

To ease out traffic congestion on the Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg and at Chirag Dilli Junction, Transport Department of GNCTD has assigned to DIMTS the Project of provision of link road from Press Enclave to Outer Ring Road. The feasibilities and detailed design studies are in progress. This Link Road measuring 1230 metres including Deck Bridge across Satpulla Nallah coming in its alignment is expected to be completed within six months after the statutory clearances. - Foot Over Bridge (FOB) at Mathura Road - Bhairon Marg Junction
For the convenience of people going and coming from Major Dhyan Chand Statium, GNCTD has assigned the work of providing one FOB at Mathura Road - Bhairon Marg Junction. The Project is estimated to cost about Rs. 4.5 Crores. The proposal along with rough cost estimates are under consideration of PWD for approval. - Right Turning Ramp from Joseph Brog Tito Marg to Siri Fort Marg
For providing free right turn for the traffic going to Siri Fort Stadium from Moolchand Flyover side, GNCTD has decided to provide a one way Ramp from J.B. Tito Marg to Siri Fort Road. The Techno Feasibilities studies have been completed. The Project is likely to take 18 months for completion after the statutory clearances. - BOT Toilets
DIMTS is providing facility for Public Conveniences on the BRT Corridor. Facility would comprise of Nine Public Toilets spread throughout the 5.9 Kms. BRT Corridor from Ambedkar Nagar to Moolchand Flyover at an average interval of about 500 metres. The facility shall be physically challenged friendly. - Elevated Ring Road
The 48.5 long Inner Ring Road, a vital component of Delhi's arterial road network, has a configuration of 6 - lane divided carriageway. In order to avert the traffic gridlock conditions on the Ring Road, the Government of Delhi intends to augument the capacity of the Road by constructing an Elevated Corridor on the existing Ring Road. The strategic options cum feasibility study has already been carried out. DIMTS has been assigned the work of preparing detailed Project Report of the proposed Elevated Ring Road. Terms & conditions for undertaking the Project are being finalized.
